My Fathers Speech

Good afternoon everyone,

First of all, I want to thank God.

I couldn’t do any of this without him.

Second, I want to thank the Pema team.

For all the years that we’ve worked together, as they say a man could not shoulder all the problems himself.

He needs an ally,

a family, a community,

and most of all he needs a team.

I am a strong believer that great things can only be achieved through teamwork.

As I look back on my 26 years of stay in PNB. I remember the feeling of waking up early, preparing early for the day only to get stuck into traffic and be late for work.

Those many years I had spent trying to perfect my craft, yet some ended in wins while others ended in failures.

In those times, I had experienced many ups and downs, especially when dealing with problems in our organization.

As they say, life are full of up and downs, one day everything goes your way, the next you can lose it all.

I remember, feeling anxious

During those time, one will often wonder:

“Can we make it through this?”

“Will we be able to get out of this?”

“How are things going to go after this?”

You face a lot of personal problems, in fact you face a lot of fears, during those crunch times.

Your thought process goes and night, will make a person think what did I get myself into?

Yet still, I chose to believe and to stick with my comrades and put our strength to God.

When I look back during those times of uncertainty, it makes me happy for I couldn’t have done it myself.

Without God and the team that I have with me, we wouldn’t have gotten through it.

And now as I begin this new phase of my career, I can say that the best is yet to come.

I will do my best and give it my all to serve my people in the best way possible.
